First step.
We make an initial visit to your property and listen carefully
to your thoughts and aspirations. Our initial ideas are discussed
together with possible solutions to difficult areas. After the design
fee is agreed with you, detailed measurements are taken and recorded.
Back in the studio.
A site landscape plan is constructed on a computer with the property and
main features shown, generally to a scale of 1:100 (1cm = 1 metre).
A print is produced on which the design is developed by hand. Once
completed, the design is then accurately reproduced on the computer
plan before printing out and checking the final detail. An itemised
budget quotation is then produced; the full process generally takes
2 to 3 weeks for the average garden.
Finally.
The design and quote are sent to you for approval and a no-obligation
meeting is arranged to discuss the proposal and any changes required.
We will provide samples of materials and produce an amended plan,
if required, without additional charge. At this stage, we supply
a fixed-price quotation for the work based on the final approved
design and agree a convenient start date. |
